Common envelope jets supernovae with a black hole companion as possible high-energy neutrino sources

چکیده
We study high energy neutrino emission from relativistic jets launched by a black hole (BH) spiraling-in inside the envelope of red supergiant (RSG), and find that such common supernovae (CEJSNe) are potential source for ~10^15 eV neutrinos detected IceCube. first use stellar evolution code MESA to mimic effect on RSG envelope, substantially inflate envelope. then propagation extended in most cases do not penetrate but rather stalled. show can accelerate cosmic rays enough energies produce neutrinos. While stream out freely, gamma-rays accompany production remain trapped optically thick This explains lack observational association between gamma-rays. crudely estimate diffuse spectrum CEJSN CEJSNe with BH companions might have substantial contribution flux

High Energy Plasma Physics in Black Hole Environment with Jets
The Compton Gamma Ray Observatory revealed the high energy emission of some Active Galactic Nuclei called ”Blazars”; few of them have also been observed by ground Cererenkov arrays. Those sources observed with Whipple Observatory emit gamma rays up to few TeV. From the spectral data and variability measurements, a purely electrodynamical description of this emission can be proposed, provided th...
متن کاملHigh Energy Neutrino Telescopes Detect Supernovae
We have simulated the response of a high energy neutrino telescope to the stream of low energy neutrinos produced by a supernova. The nominal threshold of such detectors is in the GeV energy range. The passage of a large flux of MeV neutrinos during a period of seconds will nevertheless be detected as an excess of single counting rates in all individual optical modules. Detectors under construc...
متن کاملHigh-energy neutrino as observational signature of massive black hole formation
We describe the formation of a seed massive black hole (MBH) inside a supermassive star (SMS) in a distant galactic nucleus. The short-lived SMS is naturally formed due to collision destructions of normal stars in the evolving galactic nucleus. The neutron stars (NSs) and stellar-mass black holes form a compact self-gravitating subsystem deep inside a SMS. This subsystem is short-lived in compa...
متن کاملHigh-energy black hole production
Black hole production in high-energy collisions is briefly surveyed. Included is a summary of recent developments and open problems relevant to collider (LHC) production, as well as of some theoretical issues pointing towards fundamental principles of quantum gravity.
متن کاملBlack Hole Emergence in Supernovae
If a black hole formed in a core-collapse supernova is accreting material from the base of the envelope, the accretion luminosity could be observable in the supernova light curve. We present results of a fully relativistic numerical investigation of the fallback of matter onto a black hole in a supernova and examine conditions which would be favorable for detection of the black hole. In general...
